Therapist

Day Therapist (Fee for Service) capable of providing therapeutic care, treatment and rehabilitation services to people affected by drug and alcohol dependency and/or mental illness and related issues. The Therapist plans and conducts therapeutic activities on an individual and group basis. He/She must be capable to understand the full continuum of care and have broad understanding of how a therapeutic program operates and how the client moves along in the treatment system with use of ASAM criteria.

Duties and responsibilities: Maintain records, bio-psycho-history, assessments, evaluations, etc., and keep case records current according to established guidelines. Facilitate and supervise individual and group counseling sessions, prepare treatment plans, histories, etc., Provide assessments and evaluations based on appropriate criteria. Attend and participate in weekly Team meetings. Maintain appropriate professional certification and credentials.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in social work, counseling/psychology or human services or bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling/psychology or human services related field.

Minimum of 3 years clinical drug and alcohol counseling. Substance Abuse Use Disorder Certification or Drug & Alcohol License a plus.

Intake Specialist

The individual will be responsible for: reviewing/accepting referrals into treatment, completing admission clinical documentation, clinical risks, assessments using the ASAM criteria, biopsychosocial evaluation, coordinate participant’s treatment schedule, support transition with introductions to assigned therapist, prepare data and information for funding. BHSI eligibility.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in social work, counseling/psychology or human services or bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling/psychology or human services related field.

Minimum of 3 years clinical drug and alcohol counseling. Substance Abuse Use Disorder Certification or Drug & Alcohol License a plus.
